Graduation DVD Video Order Form Important Notice Regarding Graduation, Graduation Practice and Graduation Tickets!!! Johns Creek’s inaugural graduation commencement will be held Friday, May 21st at 7 p.m. in the JCHS Auditorium! Graduation Location Decision: We have kept a close eye on multiple weather forecasts and the trend for our area on this Friday and Saturday. The trend has not been in our favor and both Friday and Saturday now contain inclement weather concerns. Due to this likely impact on both graduation set-up and the actual ceremony, I have made the decision to go ahead and move this year’s graduation ceremony inside to our JCHS auditorium on Friday night at 7:00 – the originally preferred time. I want this inaugural ceremony to be smooth and to be a life-long great memory for our inaugural graduates. That is why I have made the early decision to proceed in the auditorium. Tickets will be required – that has always been the plan and seniors have been well-aware for weeks – and aware personally from me since our May 12th senior meeting. Students will receive tickets at Thursday’s mandatory practice. All students will receive 5 tickets. All students who followed the requested procedure and informed Mr. Martin of special needs for additional tickets have been addressed. We look forward to a beautiful ceremony.
MANDATORY Graduation practice will be held Thursday, May 20th at 12:30 in the JCHS Cafeteria – Lunch will be served. Graduates must attend practice in order to walk during commencement and to receive tickets. NO EXCEPTIONS!! Each graduate will receive five tickets (not eight, as was erroneously reported previously) at the conclusion of graduation practice. ***Any family requesting additional tickets beyond their allotted five must submit a written request to Patrick Martin, Assistant Principal, prior to Thursday, May 20th. One Additional Important Note: Once graduation practice is over, seniors are not to be on the JCHS campus until 6 p.m., Friday, May 21st. Seniors, please sleep in Friday morning, enjoy the day away from school, and report to the Auxiliary Gym by 6 p.m. Calendar of Events:
